A piece of pita bread is a little world unto itself — round, hollow, portable and convenient, too! So I love using pita bread because you can stuff them with any sweet or savoury filling.
Last time I made savoury pita pockets so this time I tried something different. I stuffed pita bread with nut-butter and fruits. For this recipe I used peanut butter, you can use nut-butter of your choice. If you don’t like or you are allergic to nut-butter you can use any seed butter as well. Also I have used my favourite fruits banana and apple, you can use fruits of your choice. Always try for whole grain pita bread or whole wheat pita bread to make this fruit pita pockets healthy.
