Banana Smoothie Bowl Recipe

A smoothie breakfast bowl is simply thick smoothie served in a bowl and topped with granola, nuts, chocolate chips, fresh fruits. Smoothie bowls are creamy, cold, and thick enough to eat with a spoon just like ice cream. Just use any fruit you have in you fridge. Frozen fruit works great for smoothie bowl because they gives more creamy texture.

In this recipe I have used protein powder along with banana, so you can have this as you post workout meal also. I have used whey protein but you can also use any plant based protein powder for vegan option.

Ingredients
  • 1 Frozen Banana
  • 1 Scoop protein powder
  • ½ Cup Almond milk
  • ½ Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • TOPPINGS
  • Hemp seeds
  • Chia seeds
  • Pumpkin seeds
Directions
  • Step 1 Add almond milk, banana, cinnamon and protein powder to the pitcher of a blender and blend.
  • Step 2 Transfer to a bowl, add toppings, and enjoy with a spoon!.
